As you will learn, many eSocialists have different views on how to build Socialism in an ecountry. From the economic perspective, there are views ranging from "regulated market" (this means that the private industry still has a right to exist) all the way to "controlled markets" and markets where no private industry is allowed to exist at all.
You will find Communist parties in Western Europe, mainly eUK that only want to "regulate" the economy and find more radical views on the economy to the East, primarily eRussia.
Our economical program in eRussia is to produce as much products as possible and sell them for the cheapest price on the market. This will kill the capitalists one-by-one in eRussia. After this, we can finally start spreading the revolution to the rest of the eWorld.
Then there are people who believe that the "economical warfare" is not the way to establishing a Socialist state. Although I must admit, these kind of parties and organizations have almost vanished, a lot of Communist parties realized that the economical warfare is the key to spreading the revolution. In any case, there are organizations like the Workers' Militia which believes fighting against imperialism will increase the support of the Communist parties internationally. Even if the WM has over 200 members, they haven't yet managed to do anything in practice, except spread propaganda.

I personally would love to go the more radical way and crush the capitalists, but the SFP here in the US requires we cast a wider net for membership and we will not be effective if we alienate our members. Perhaps we can re-educate them at some point.
It's kind of funny because I definitely do not believe in party politics as a method of revolution for the United States but in the game, we don't have a pesky constitutionally derived two-party system so a communist party actually stands a chance at being elected to power. For now, I am content to work on that.

Yeah it's nice to actually stand a chance if you work hard enough whereas in real life you are screwed always and forever. Well hopefully not but it certainly feels that way. Re-education is in my opinion essential to any far-left movements. People need to get over the fact that this game works differently than real life and (while I support real life socialism) socialism/communism isn't some satanic cult or whatever I mean really grow up and read a book! And while I also realize that probably a lot of erepublik players, especially in america, are kids we should still try. Who knows maybe this could help the real life struggle in some small way.
