After the death of 34 people in the square who were killed by the Turkish Gladio supported by CIA, Taksim Square was an illegal place for meetings.. It was illegal for the working class! But this year, the decisive standing of the working class managed to go to Taksim Square and celebrated 1st of May! Taksim square is the place to celebrate Mayday! Long live the struggle of Working class!

Wow that's awesome! I went to the May Day rally in Sydney. There were only 400 people there...advanced capitalist countries are much too apathetic.

Heh, in California no one knows about May Day I believe it'd be safer of you to say no one in America knows of May Day. (I'm in Florida) Stop complaining and join the Wobblies, who are helping workers at Starbucks unionize! Or join/start an infoshop, to help more people know about MayDay. Or make it happen, in another of the myriad different ways... :-) |
