In eSpain (edited: I mean in the coops of the Bloque Obrero, of course) we currently produce: -grain (from a high region) -iron (from a high region) -wood (from a medium region) -Q1 houses (currently inactive) -Q3 houses -Q3 weapons -Q1 travel tickets -Q2 gifts -Q2 food -Q5 food
I think a barter system could help greatly us and other coops. We could provide many with goods they can't (yet) produce or cheap iron/grain, and others could provide us either with cheap wood/diamonds/oil or woods we do not produce. That would make us more efficient, and/or would make the benefits for coop workers larger.
As an example, we recently traded Q3 weapons for Q1 weapons with our turkish comrades, on a 1:3 basis. So, they can do more damage when it really matters, and we can afford to train more often.
Thus, I think a specific section to facilitate/promote inter-coop barter/trade would be a good addition to the forum :-)

Sounds interesting. I was thinking about what to do with the communes, but not so in-depth. It's possible we can make some sort of International Trade Center or something of the sort. In time comrades...

We already sold like 20 of the 66 Q1 weapons we traded last time, Riza, and our Q3 weapon stock is still doing well (our Q1 moving tickets stock is actually rising!). So, would you be in for another barter of the same sort? 21 Q1 weapons for 7 Q3 weapons, or maybe for 21 Q5 food? 20 Q1 weapons for 10 Q1 moving tickets? Or is somebody interested in something of this sort, while we wait for a proper subforum?

Wow! You guys have awesome industrial capabilities! We need to compile lists of socialised companies around the world so we have an idea of our economic potential and to coordinate trade.

Everyone has grain and food -which is a good thing, of course- but I agree: if we could coordinate our efforts, probably eSpain and eTurkey could provide with cheap iron and weapons of different qualities, while others could do the same with diamonds/gifts and oil/MTs. Right now I'm seeing offers for MT in the eSpanish market that are cheaper than the for-coop-workers price, which, while being good for the eSpanish workers, can harm us in the medium run. We would not have that worry if there was a coop in a high-oil region :-)
